How to create a strong password
A strong password is long and truly random, not a word, name or date. Choose a length and character types, then press “Generate password”. This secure password generator creates a new random password straight away. Press “Copy password” and paste it into the site, or press “Regenerate” as often as you like. The default is 20 characters with lowercase, uppercase, numbers and symbols, which makes it a strong password generator out of the box.
What password length means
Every extra character multiplies the number of possible passwords, so length matters more than adding a symbol. The strength indicator shows randomness in bits, calculated from the length, the size of the character set and the rule that each chosen type must appear. Use at least 12 characters for everyday accounts, and more for email, banking or a master password.
Why unique passwords matter
When one site is breached, leaked passwords are tried on other sites. Reusing a password puts every account that shares it at risk. Use a separate random password for each account, and turn on two-step verification where you can.
How browser-local generation works
This random password generator runs in your browser using the secure Web Crypto generator. Passwords are never sent to a server, saved on the device, put in the URL or kept in a history. Each character is drawn without bias from the set you chose. If a result misses a chosen character type, the whole password is drawn again, so every valid password is equally likely.
Why a password manager is useful
Long random passwords are hard to remember. A reputable password manager stores and fills them for you and can warn you about leaks, so you can keep a unique password for every account and remember only one master password. Many password managers can generate passwords too.
Frequently asked questions
Is the password saved or sent anywhere?
No. It exists only on this page and is gone when you close or leave it. There is no history.
Can ARAIJA clear my clipboard?
No. Websites can't reliably clear the system clipboard. If others use this device, copy something else over it after pasting.
When should I avoid ambiguous characters?
When you'll read or type the password by hand, such as a Wi‑Fi key. It slightly shrinks the character set, so add a little length.
Can I use it for a master password?
Yes, if it's long enough, but a master password must be remembered. Store it somewhere safe and check your service's requirements.
